More than a hormone number

You deserve care that looks at the pattern—not one lab in isolation.

Symptoms such as fatigue, brain fog, cycle changes, disrupted sleep, low libido, mood shifts, and weight resistance can overlap across multiple systems.

We evaluate the broader context so you can understand what may be contributing, which options are appropriate, and what deserves further investigation.

Talk through what feels off and identify the right next step. Laboratory testing, treatment, and comprehensive programs are separate.

Women’s health leads the practice

Hormone care is not a side service here.

SANE.Medical was built around thoughtful women’s reproductive, hormone, and whole-body care—not around adding a hormone special to an aesthetics menu.

For women in Navarre, Gulf Breeze, and throughout Northwest Florida, that means your symptoms, cycles, fertility goals, midlife changes, metabolic health, and medical history remain at the center of the evaluation.

You may recognize yourself here

“I don’t feel like me.”

You do not need every symptom—or a perfect explanation—to deserve a thoughtful evaluation.

01

Cycles that have become irregular, heavier, lighter, painful, or unpredictable

Fatigue, low motivation, brain fog, or difficulty concentrating

05

Weight or body-composition changes that do not match your efforts

Treatment is a decision—not a sales pitch

Your options should be explained clearly.

Hormone therapy may be one appropriate option, but it is not the automatic answer for every symptom or every woman. Your history, risks, goals, exam, and clinical findings guide the conversation.

Care may include education, lifestyle and nutrient foundations, medication, hormone therapy, additional evaluation, or referral. When treatment is appropriate, you should understand the expected benefits, limitations, alternatives, and monitoring plan.

Hormone replacement therapy in context

The route and treatment goal matter.

01

Systemic hormone therapy

Oral or transdermal estrogen—with appropriate endometrial protection when a uterus is present—may be considered for bothersome hot flashes and night sweats after an individualized risk review.

02

Vaginal and urinary symptoms

Low-dose local vaginal estrogen and other options may address vaginal dryness, painful sex and genitourinary symptoms when appropriate. These decisions are different from systemic treatment.

03

Nonhormone options

Hormone therapy is not the only path. Evidence-based nonhormone medication and symptom-specific approaches should be discussed when preferred or medically indicated.

Connected care paths

Your next step should match the question you are asking.

Preparing for pregnancy? Explore Conceive With Clarity™. If weight and metabolic health are the primary concern, visit medical weight care.

If several symptoms overlap and you need someone to connect the whole picture, Rooted Vitality™ remains the clearest starting point.

Safety-rooted by design

You can ask questions, slow the conversation down, and remain in control of your care.

Clear explanations, informed consent, shared decisions, and respect for your boundaries are part of the medical experience—not optional extras.

Questions women are asking

Hormone replacement therapy FAQs

01What symptoms can menopause hormone therapy treat?+

Systemic hormone therapy is the most effective treatment for bothersome hot flashes and night sweats and may improve related sleep disruption. Local vaginal estrogen and other treatments may be considered for vaginal dryness, painful sex and urinary symptoms. The right option depends on the symptoms being treated.

02Do I need hormone testing before starting treatment?+

Menopause and perimenopause are often identified from age, menstrual pattern and symptoms rather than one hormone panel. Testing can be useful when the presentation is unclear, symptoms suggest another condition, or results would change the plan.

03Is hormone replacement therapy safe?+

Safety depends on age, timing, health history, uterus status, route, dose and the reason for treatment. Hormone therapy is not appropriate for everyone, so benefits, risks, alternatives and monitoring should be reviewed individually.

04Do I need progesterone with estrogen?+

A patient with a uterus who uses systemic estrogen generally needs adequate endometrial protection with a progestogen. The regimen should be selected and monitored by a qualified clinician.

05What is the difference between FDA-approved and compounded bioidentical hormones?+

Many FDA-approved products contain hormones chemically identical to hormones produced by the body. Custom-compounded products are not automatically safer or more effective and do not undergo the same FDA review for safety, effectiveness, quality and predictable dosing.

06Where can I receive hormone replacement therapy near Navarre or Gulf Breeze?+

SANE.Medical provides women’s hormone, perimenopause and menopause evaluation at its Navarre clinic for patients from Navarre, Gulf Breeze and surrounding Northwest Florida communities. Rooted Vitality™ is the comprehensive starting assessment.
