Meet Your Provider

Dr. Amanda Davis, DNP, APRN, FNP-C

Family Nurse Practitioner

I am a nurse practitioner with experience in treating various conditions including chronic medical conditions. My experience includes working in the emergency department as a trauma nurse and sexual assault nurse examiner. As a nurse practitioner I have experience in chiropractic care and physical therapy (to include regenerative medicine), aesthetics & hormone replacement, and primary care. Providing care to sexual violence survivors remains a passion of mine. I became passionate about nursing following the death of my father at a very young age and found comfort following the footsteps of my grandmother who was a respiratory therapist while she attended to her patients in the hospitals and rehab settings. I obtained a passion for forensics while shadowing my aunt and uncle in law enforcement as a child/young adult. Later the two worlds combined and led me to my passion of helping survivors obtain the justice they deserve to prosecute sexual offenders.

My doctoral work focused on chronic knee pain and short and long term success of knee bracing to decrease opiate and NSAID usage. Over the past 10 years of working in healthcare and the ever-changing landscape of the medial field led me to refocus on shared decision making with my patients. The refocus allows me to spend more time with my patients by providing compassionate, affordable, and quality care with less restrictions.

Your Provider

Research shows that people move through four levels of health-related characteristics throughout their lives to include attitudes, motivators, and behaviors. Level one is when a person is disengaged and overwhelmed. Level two is when a person is becoming aware but still struggling. Level three is when the person starts to take action and gain control of their condition. Level four is when the person becomes active in their care, maintains healthy behaviors, and continues to push further.
